Dix Hills, NY - Multiple Five Towns college athletes have been announced as award winners for the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). This was the Inaugural Season for all fall sports at Five Towns College.
Men's Soccer
Robinson Munoz - Junior - Midfield - Corona, New York
*HVIAC All-Conference
Robinson Munoz, a transfer from Queensborough Community College, led Five Towns in assists and was fourth on the team in total points. Munoz accumulated seven goals scored and 11 assists for 25 points on the season. Munoz scored a hat-trick on September 14th against Pratt and also had two assists for his highest point game of the season with eight. The Junior also had an impressive game with two goals and three assists against Webb Institute on September 7th. In the team's 4-3 victory over Berkeley-NY, Munoz had two crucial assists to take down the conference foe #1 Berkeley-NY, who came into the match undefeated in conference play
William Rivera - Freshman - Midfield - Great Neck, New York
*USCAA Honorable Mention All-American
William Rivera was the team's second leading scorer with 13 goals and seven assists. He scored a hat-trick in the 18-1 win against Pratt on September 14th, and had a four goal haul in the 11-1 win versus Culinary on September 29th for his highest point game of the season. Rivera also had an impressive game in the 5-2 win over USCAA Division I Bryant & Stratton Albany with one goal and three assists. Rivera had a vital goal which evened the score at 3-3 in the 4-3 victory over #1 Berkeley-NY.
Adrian Santos - Sophomore - Forward - Brooklyn, New York
*USCAA Honorable Mention All-American
Adrian Santos finished the season third on the team in goals scored with 11, and also had two assists. Santos is a transfer from Borough of Manhattan Community College, where he helped lead the team to a CUNYAC title and was named Rookie of the Year. Prior to his transfer to Five Towns College this season, Santos was named the CUNYAC Pre-Season Player of the Year. Santos was an explosive threat at the front line for Five Towns this season. He scored a hat-trick in the 6-0 win against Wililamson on September 18th, and scored the game-winning goal in the 3-1 upset over higher-ranked NHTI. Santos also had a goal and an assist in the win over Berkeley-NY.
Adrian Wong- Freshman - Forward - Jamaica, New York
*HVIAC All-Conference
*USCAA Honorable Mention All-American
Adrian Wong led the team in points this season with 42; he scored 18 goals and had six assists. He posted a .578% for shots on goal, and scored two game-winners. Wong had three games in which he scored a hat-trick (Sept. 11 vs. Webb, Sept. 14 vs. Pratt, Oct. 5 vs. Villa Maria), and one game with a four goal haul (Sept. 29 vs. Culinary). His highest single-game points scored came in the 11-1 win over Culinary with four goals and an assist. The Freshman's biggest goal of the season came in the 4-3 win over HVIAC opponent #1 Berkeley-NY. The game-winning goal was his 18th goal of the season and came in the 55th minute of play. Off a pass from Robinson Munoz, Wong fired a shot from the top of the 18-yard box past the diving keeper for a 4-3 lead that would hold to defeat the Berkeley Knights.

Women's Soccer
Carmella Davide - Freshman - Forward - Smithtown, New York
*HVIAC All-Conference
Carmella Davide scored two goals for the Sound through the season. She scored one goal against King's College and one goal against Villa Maria. She finished the season with a .688% for shots on goal.
Jennifer Xiong- Freshman - Forward - Connelly Springs, North Carolina
*HVIAC All-Conference
Jennifer Xiong finished the season as the team's leading scorer with three goals. Her best game came against Villa Maria with two goals scored in the team's 6-3 loss.

Women's Volleyball
Emily Angelastro - Junior - Libero - Seaford, New York
*HVIAC All-Conference
*USCAA Honorable Mention All-American
Emily Angelastro led the conference in digs with 254, and digs per set with 4.98. She was also fourth in the conference in service aces with 46. She had 12 service aces, five in a row in the second set, in the 3-0 win over Culinary (Sept. 21). Her season-high digs was 26 against King's (Oct. 9th).

Multiple student-athletes were also named to the USCAA National All-Academic team. To be recognized for the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have already completed a year of college, and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
