Bio
Sean Kammerer joins the Five Towns College Athletic Staff, while still currently serving as an Admissions Counselor here at Five Towns College. Kammerer has a wealth of experience in athletics, working both on the field and administratively, for 18 years.
Prior to his time with Five Towns College, Kammerer was a Fitness Manager at New York Sports Club and General Manager of Redline Athletics (Roswell, GA). Prior to the pandemic, Sean served as an assistant baseball coach / recruiting coordinator at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, S.D. (NAIA), where he also contributed as baseball camp director. He played a key role in transforming the program into a playoff team in his first year by bringing in an experienced coaching and development background as well as a strong class of student-athletes for the following season.
Kammerer’s coaching resume also includes time with St. Thomas Aquinas College (Sparkill, N.Y.), former Concordia College (Bronxville, N.Y.) on the NCAA division 2 level, St. Jospeh's College - Long Island (now known as St. Joseph's University - Long Island) (Patchogue, NY) on the NCAA division 3 level, Suffolk County Community College - Grant Campus (Brentwood, NY) on the NJCAA division 3 level, and his almamater Kellenberg Memorial High School (Uniondale, NY).
Internationally, Kammerer played Winterball in Brisbane, Australia, with the West District Bulldogs Baseball Club, where he started at catcher and served as Assistant 'A' Grade Coach, Head Seniors Coach (18 & under), and Communications Officer. He also played professionally in Europe for Tranas Baseball Club (Tranas, Sweden), serving as a starting catcher, third baseman, assistant coach, and Public Relations Associate.
With his diverse background and global experience, Kammerer brings a deep understanding of athletics and a passion for sports.
