Dix Hills, N.Y. - Five Towns College sophomore guard Tyler Bond and senior forward Jordan Tobin were selected as the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Co-Players of the Week for their performances in Week #1 of the 2023-2024 Men's and Women's Basketball season.

Tobin (Massapequa, NY) had 24 points, 14 rebounds, and 6 steals in a 69-56 win over NCAA Division III Yeshiva University on November 13. She also added 34 points and 13 rebounds at Raritan Valley Community College on November 18.

Bond (Jamaica, NY) led his team to a 1-1 week, scoring 18 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds in a 68-67 victory over NCAA Division III, College of Mount Saint Vincent on November 15. He led all scorers with 32 points, 5 assists, 8 rebounds in a 84-79 OT loss to Vermont State University Randolph on November 19.

Men's basketball (3-2) and women's basketball (3-1) will be back in action on Sunday December 3 when they host Villa Maria College. Tip-off for the women's game will be at 12 p.m., followed by the men's game at 2 p.m.
